Alexandre Tseytlin: Violinist
Alex is a New York based professional violin player with many years of experience. He is available for hire in New York, New Jersey, Connecticut, Pennsylvania. Alexandre plays classic, international, pop, Russian, Jewish, Arabic, Ukrainian and Belorussian music. Alex was born in a small Belarussian town, Bobruisk. At the six, Alex chose the violin as his favorite instrument and entered an elementary school of music
At age eleven, Alex was selected to attend the prestigious School of Music and Arts in the capital of Belarus, Minsk, from which he graduated in 1990. At age eighteen, Alex's interest in electronics arose and he began to pursue a degree in engineering at Belarus State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, Minsk, from which he graduated with a master of science degree in electronic and communications engineering in 1995. Meanwhile, Alex continued to play the violin in a jazz band called Dilizhans. After moving to United States in 1999, Alex refocused his life around music, and began playing the violin with the Empyreal Strings Orchestra. Additionally, Alex was invited to play at Gala event for "Jacqueline Kennedy, The White House Years", Metropolitan Museum of Arts, NY. Also, he participated in Russian Balls at the Plaza Hotel; in Persian New Year's Galas at Metropolitan Museum, NY; with Oliver Dragojevic at Carnegie Hall in 2008; Django Reinhardt Festivals in NY.
Alex performes with pop orchestras, Russian Wedding Music Band 5grand.us, Russian dance and music ensemble Barynya, with guitar player Alexey Efimenko as a part of NYC strings duo, New York Gypsy Trio and solo. Alex is available at clubs, restaurants, private and corporate events, weddings, catering halls, and more!
